RF Intelligence is a community measurement project, not a predicted coverage map. Open On Air → RF Intelligence Map to explore repeater coverage, simplex paths, portable operating sites, the six-character Maidenhead survey grid, and fixed RF Center Points.
Dickson County remains the primary survey. Use the Survey Area controls to switch between Dickson, the six bordering counties, or the full seven-county regional view. Each county keeps its own completion percentage, so adding regional coverage never lowers Dickson’s progress. Demo records are synthetic and never count toward completion.
Signed-in members can use Survey Mode and Use My Location to find nearby grids that still need real measurements. Repeater reports are generalized into public grid cells. General simplex reports prove station-to-station paths, while Center Point surveys answer a more operational question: from an important fixed location such as the EOC, hospital, library, courthouse, church, or shelter, which surrounding grids can be reached directly by simplex?
Choose a Center Point from Focus On to see its survey radius, target grids, successful/marginal/failed areas, and priority gaps. Record failed contacts too; a confirmed communications gap is valuable planning data. Center Points can have public, members-only, or RF-manager visibility.
For privacy, exact member observation coordinates are not exposed as individual public points. Only identify a portable operating site if it is a location you are comfortable identifying publicly.
