RF Intelligence is a community measurement project, not a predicted coverage map. Open On Air → RF Intelligence Map to explore three layers: repeater coverage observations, successful or attempted simplex paths, and member-recommended portable operating sites.
During the early collection period the map can show a clearly labeled Demo Data layer. Demo records are synthetic and exist only to demonstrate the long-term goal. Use the Real Data toggle whenever you want to see only measurements actually submitted by WC4DC members.
Signed-in members can choose Add RF Report. The quickest Phase 1 report is a repeater observation: use your browser location, choose Good/Marginal/Poor/No Contact, and optionally record power and antenna. Phase 2 also accepts simplex paths using the other station’s approximate Maidenhead grid and recommended public portable operating locations.
For privacy, public repeater observations are generalized into coverage cells instead of exposing exact member coordinates. Real simplex endpoints are also generalized. Only identify a portable operating site if it is a location you are comfortable identifying publicly.
