Most members only need the public site and Resource Center. Members who help maintain club information may receive a focused role such as Contest Coordinator or access to one of the WC4DC Admin task areas.
- Contest Coordinator — can create/manage local contests and Fox Hunts, define rules/scoring, review results, and export standings without receiving full site-administrator privileges.
- Quick Add Fox Hunt — creates the Fox Hunt contest and its calendar occurrence from one short form. Saved Events Manager locations can be selected instead of retyping common meetup locations. The form also stores the call-up/coordination frequency and can generate an announcement that you can edit before publishing.
- Amateur Radio Events — manages approved external contest/QSO-party feeds and reviewed outside events. Imported items remain labeled as external so they are not confused with WC4DC-sponsored activities.
- WC4DC Communications — administrators can preview and send the Weekly Brief, which can summarize upcoming events, repeater activity, site traffic, member engagement, and ClubNet activity. Individual member activity stays admin-only; Slack receives aggregate counts.
If you are unsure where to make a change, use WC4DC Admin rather than hunting through unrelated WordPress menus. If a task still feels confusing, submit Website Feedback so the workflow can be simplified.
