Then learn how gateway channels and service codes work, move to an RF method such as VARA FM, packet, VARA HF, or another supported mode, and finish with the Book of Knowledge for forms, peer-to-peer operation, troubleshooting, and emergency-communications practice. Use only frequencies, modes, power levels, and gateways permitted by your license and applicable rules.
